The Chiropractic Team that Moved a Nation
Ok - does that sound crazy? Impossible? Too much? Well, I think that is a great place to start.
You are getting this information because I believe that you are already a Chiropractic Leader in Ohio and of course an ACA memeber.
I want you to come take a journey with me as we begin to systematically begin to change and improve the perception of chiropractic here in Ohio and soon the rest of the nation. And yes - it is possible.
I have been hashing this around my head for the past few weeks - I just could not get comfortable with the right communication system. Then it came to me - last night - as I was rocking my 17 month old baby to sleep with the music from Celine Deon playing "What a wonderful Day" - to help him get to sleep - but mostly I really lke that song - (I like the version from Louie Armstrong better though.) I was thinking about a blog that I had just made for my Media Ministry at my Church and - the idea hit me - I would make a blog to communicate instantly with the Leaders of the Ohio ACA team. Yes - Quick, efficient, and I could even teach other chiropractors to market their practices through a blog of their own.
I want to be able to share some of the information that I have and some of the things that I have learned and will continue to learn that will help us all promote chiropractic across this nation.
You see - I know the business and healthcare world has changed fast. Starting this year - 10,000 baby bommers a day are turning 60 - and they are not going to take "Disease Care" they way it is in it's present form. They are truly going to demand "Health Care". They are NOT going to be ok with taking an average of 15 different medications by the time they are 65.
Here is what I believe - I believe we are on the verge of the greatest growth this profession has EVER seen - BUT - we must get prepared.
We MUST begin to learn the new technology and the way the population communicates with each other and with businesses. I know you think I am a technical retard. I assure you my name is not Dr. Chicken Little. I believe we have the greatest opportunity available to us if we just learn to change a little bit each day.
You that are receiving this - you are in my initial pick for those that I think can contribute the most to the success of this project. This is a private blog. Only those that I invite can see it or contribute to it. It is supposed to be private. If you think you have another chiropractor that would contribute to the ACA Ohio Leadership Team - then let me know who it is and we will get them on this Blog.
One of my goals is to get you used to using a blog yourself if you have not already created one for yourself. One of my goals is to get you to create a blog for your own practice. I will show you how. Why? Ok let me give you a few reasons;
1. It is Free
2. Your patients are already online communicating through blogs and social networks
3. Health information - most of it is found on the web- and if you are not there -then they are getting from someone besides you.
4. All of the other professions have a presence on the web - one of the best ways you can promote your practice is to have a blog and let your patient know about it.
5. Yes - you can get new patients from your blog.
6. You can use blogs to communicate with other organizations in your life - efficiently and effectively with everyone all at the same time.
7. Being connected to the web for you business is NOT an option anymore. You need a website and you need to promote your website with information that will change your patient's life - and your blog can be a part of your website or as a stand alone by itself.
I have a desire to ask for, share and communicate ideas to all other ACA members in Ohio that will improve our chiropractic image and our practices.
I would like your help. I will share the information that I know - and I would want you to share the information you know.
This particular blog will REMAIN just for OHIO ACA Leadership People. I will create another blog for use by all of the ACA Ohio Members - to create better communication and share practice ideas and initiatives of the ACA. I have some emnormous plans to share with you about how we can change a nation from Ohio.
Very soon you will get information that will make it clear how we can make a difference here in Ohio. I will be in touch with you. And - You are going to love this - and maybe learn a thing or two as I will.
